Bullseye search · GTM Engineer
A GTM engineer builds the systems that find, enrich, and reach the right buyers at scale: data pipelines, outbound infrastructure, CRM automation, and AI in the loop. I run a bullseye search for the engineer who can build yours.
The short answer
Chasen Talent is a founder-led recruiting firm that finds GTM engineers for early-stage to growth startups. Founder Chasen Nick runs every search personally as a bullseye search: one specific profile, recruited directly from teams where that work is happening now, and verified before a client ever sees them.
Why I know this role
Chasen Talent runs on systems I built myself: sourcing pipelines that pull and verify candidates from public data, enrichment with credit budgets, CRM and sequencing automation, AI reply classification, and email deliverability guardrails I learned the hard way. When I screen a GTM engineer, I know which parts are easy to demo and which parts are hard to run.
The target
Writes Python or JavaScript against APIs and webhooks, not only no-code tools.
Enrichment, dedup, and routing across the CRM, sequencer, and data vendors.
Knows domain reputation and sending limits, and why volume can burn a domain.
Ties what they build to meetings and revenue, not activity counts.
Where I find them: Growth and RevOps engineering teams at high-velocity SaaS startups, first technical hires on founder-led sales teams, and engineers who built outbound or enrichment tooling for their own companies.
How a bullseye search works
We pin down the exact profile together: what they've shipped, the stack, the stage, and the dealbreakers. No keyword lists.
I map who's doing this work right now and recruit them directly with your specific role. Most of them are not applying anywhere.
I check real track record and current role before anyone reaches you, so you meet finalists, not a stack of resumes.
Every step is run by me, Chasen Nick. No handoffs to junior recruiters. How that compares to a big agency →
Questions founders ask
A GTM (go-to-market) engineer is a technical builder on the revenue team. They build the data pipelines, enrichment, outbound infrastructure, and CRM automation that let a small sales team reach the right buyers at scale, often with AI in the workflow.
RevOps runs and configures the revenue stack. A GTM engineer writes code to extend it: custom integrations, enrichment pipelines, and automated workflows that off-the-shelf tools can't handle.
At minimum: a scripting language (usually Python or JavaScript), APIs and webhooks, a CRM such as Salesforce or HubSpot, enrichment data sources, and email deliverability. The best ones also think in pipeline, not activity.
